Hello friends, I’m back with another round of product empties. I always think finishing a product says more than a first impression ever could.
My skin leans dry and sensitive (with a slightly combination T-zone), so I’m careful with what I use. These are a few empties that genuinely helped improve my skin condition — whether layered together or used on their own.
1. Dior Capture Totale Super Potent Rich Creme – 4/5
I initially bought this because of a sample. I won’t lie — the scent pulled me in first. It smells luxurious and comforting, which made the experience feel elevated from the start. But what kept me using it was the texture. Despite being nourishing, it never felt overly thick or suffocating. My skin felt softer and more elastic over time, especially around areas that tend to get tight.
2. DR.WU DermLab Niacinamide 10% Serum – 4/5
I’ve been enjoying several products from DR.WU, but this one stood out. The formula is lightweight, almost watery, and it sinks in quickly without leaving residue. For dryness paired with sensitivity, this worked surprisingly well. My skin felt more balanced and less reactive over time. It didn’t feel sticky or heavy, and it layered smoothly under moisturiser.
3. Estée Lauder Micro Essence Skin Activating Treatment Lotion – 3/5
I used this as my toner step. It has that slightly fermented scent that not everyone will love, but after daily use, I barely noticed it. What I can say is that my skin felt bouncier — that plump, springy “duang duang” texture that makes your complexion look well-rested.
4. d'Alba White Truffle First Spray Serum – 4/5
This was my in-between step whenever my skin felt tight during the day. A few spritzes instantly refreshed everything without disturbing makeup. It gave a light glow and helped maintain moisture levels, especially in air-conditioned environments. The finish felt fine and even, not sticky or oily. For sensitive, dry skin, having something gentle and hydrating on hand makes a noticeable difference.
When you have dry, sensitive skin, finding products that hydrate without overwhelming can feel like trial and error. These empties showed me that lightweight serums paired with nourishing creams can make a visible difference. Some products stood out more than others, but together they contributed to softer, calmer, more resilient skin. And honestly, that’s all I really ask for in a routine.
