Brown eyeshadow has always felt like home to me. It’s the one thing I can reach for without thinking too much, yet it never comes out the same twice.
Some days it looks soft and barely there, other days it adds depth that changes the whole mood.
Recently, I’ve been rotating between three shades—Etude Sand Hill, Rom&nd Dry Apple Blossom, and Peripera Teteun Brown—and somehow, each one brings out a different side of a simple brown look.

1. Etude Sand Hill

Sand Hill gives that warm, grounded tone that feels effortlessly natural. It reminds me of sunlit earth—soft, slightly golden, and easy to blend without much effort. I usually go for this when I want something that looks calm and put together without trying too hard. It spreads smoothly, and even a light touch already creates a nice depth on the eyes. On busy mornings, this shade saves me from overthinking because it just falls into place.

2. Rom&nd Dry Apple Blossom

Dry Apple Blossom leans into a brown with a subtle rosy hint, which makes it feel a bit more expressive. It’s not your typical flat brown—it carries a gentle warmth that adds a soft charm. When I use this, my eye look feels a little more alive, like there’s a quiet story behind it. I tend to pick this shade when I want something slightly different but still comfortable enough for everyday wear. It has that balance between familiar and fresh.

3. Peripera Teteun Brown

Teteun Brown feels deeper and a bit more defined compared to the others. It’s the shade I reach for when I want my eyes to stand out just a little more. There’s a richness to it that builds nicely, so I can keep it soft or layer it for a stronger look. I like using this when I have more time to play around, blending it into the outer corners or pairing it with lighter tones. It adds a sense of intention, like I actually planned the look instead of just throwing something on.
Rotating between them makes even a simple brown eyeshadow routine feel less repetitive. And somehow, that small change on the eyes can shift the whole vibe of the day in ways I didn’t expect.
