I don’t always choose perfume the same way. Sometimes I pick based on outfit, sometimes just on instinct—like, what kind of version of myself I feel like being that day. When I look at Miss Dior Eau de Parfum and Chloé Nomade Eau de Parfum, they don’t compete in my mind.
They sit on opposite sides, almost like two different stories I can step into.
Miss Dior Eau de Parfum
There’s something very “soft-focus” about this scent. It doesn’t rush in—it kind of unfolds slowly, and before I realize it, it’s already there. The floral notes feel rounded, not sharp, and there’s a gentle sweetness that makes it easy to wear without overthinking. I usually reach for this when I want everything to feel a bit more polished, even if I’m just doing something simple. It blends in with my day rather than standing out, and I think that’s what makes it feel effortless. It’s not loud, but it leaves a quiet impression that lingers in a subtle way.
Chloé Nomade Eau de Parfum
This one moves differently. It feels a little more alive, like it shifts depending on the moment. The first spray has that fresh brightness, but then there’s something deeper that comes through after a while—slightly warm, slightly earthy. I tend to notice it more throughout the day compared to Miss Dior, like it reminds me it’s there. It’s the kind of scent I’d wear when I don’t want to feel too predictable. Not necessarily bold, but definitely not playing it safe either.
I don’t think perfume needs to be fixed to one identity. Some days feel softer, others feel more restless. Having both of these around just makes it easier to follow that feeling instead of forcing a single choice every time.
