Skincare, for me, has never been just about fixing something. It’s more like a quiet routine I return to, especially on days when everything else feels rushed. Serums are usually the step where I slow down a bit—taking a second to actually notice how my skin feels.
Two that I’ve spent time with are Juju&Co Bright Booster and Bloomka Bakuchiol Vitamin B. They sit in the same category, but the experience of using them feels quite different.
1. Juju&Co – Bright Booster
This one gives that immediate “awake” impression. The texture is light, almost watery, and it spreads quickly without leaving any heaviness behind. I tend to reach for it in the morning, especially when my skin looks a little dull or uneven. There’s something about it that makes the face look fresher, not dramatically different, but enough to notice when I catch my reflection later. What I like is how simple it feels. It layers well with other products and doesn’t complicate the routine. After a few days of consistent use, my skin looks a bit clearer and more even, like it’s been quietly improving in the background.
2. Bloomka – Bakuchiol Vitamin B
This one feels calmer, slower, and more nurturing. The texture is slightly richer compared to the Bright Booster, but still comfortable on the skin. I usually use it at night, when I’m not in a hurry and can take my time. There’s a softness it leaves behind that feels reassuring, like my skin is being taken care of rather than pushed to change quickly. Bakuchiol has that reputation of being a gentler alternative to stronger actives, and this serum carries that idea well.
Juju&Co Bright Booster and Bloomka Bakuchiol Vitamin B don’t compete as much as they offer two different approaches. One is light, fresh, and immediate; the other is gentle, steady, and comforting. Having both in a routine feels less like excess and more like having options—because sometimes skincare is just about meeting your skin where it is that day, not forcing it into one fixed routine.
