Hi Lykkers! I used to think eyeshadow palettes were only for “full makeup days,” but now I see them differently. Even when I’m going for a soft, everyday look, a little touch on the eyes changes everything.
It doesn’t feel like I’m doing more makeup—it just feels like my face looks a bit more alive, a bit more intentional.
These two palettes have been sitting in my routine lately, and I end up reaching for them based on the kind of mood I want to carry that day.

1. HINCE New Depth Eyeshadow Palette – Shade 03 Like A Scene

This palette feels very soft but still structured. The shades lean toward muted, refined tones that don’t scream for attention but still shape the eyes nicely. When I use it, my eye look feels more polished, like there’s a quiet definition that makes everything look more put together. I like using it when I want something minimal but still a bit elevated—nothing too shiny, nothing too loud.

2. Dasique Shadow Palette – Shade 05 Sunset Muhly

This one feels warmer and more romantic. The colors remind me of soft sunset tones—peach, rosy browns, and that gentle glow that makes everything look a bit softer. When I wear this palette, my whole makeup mood changes. It feels more relaxed, a bit dreamy, and more playful compared to the HINCE one.
I like using it on days when I want my look to feel a little more warm and expressive. It blends easily, and I don’t have to think too much about precision—it just melts into a soft gradient that feels very natural on my eyes.
I don’t really plan it too much. I just open my makeup bag and pick based on how I feel. HINCE is my “clean and refined” mood. Dasique is my “soft and warm” mood. One feels more structured, the other feels more emotional in a way. And I like having both because my mood isn’t the same every day, so my makeup doesn’t have to be either. These palettes don’t just change how my eyes look—they kind of change how I feel when I look at myself in the mirror.
