Hi Lykkers! Some mornings, I look in the mirror and immediately know what's missing. It's not foundation, mascara, or even lipstick. My face just needs a little color. That's why blush has become one of the most-used products in my makeup routine.
A few taps on the cheeks can completely change the mood of a look. Suddenly, I appear more refreshed, more awake, and definitely less like someone who stayed up scrolling through videos the night before. Lately, these two blushes have been getting the most attention on my vanity.

1. Barenbliss Moist Mochi Blush 02 Berry Lava

Berry Lava isn't the kind of shade that quietly sits in the background. The first time I opened it, I expected something intimidatingly bold. Surprisingly, once blended out, the color settles into a beautiful flush that brings warmth and energy to the face. What makes this blush fun is how adaptable it feels. On casual days, a light application creates a soft berry-tinted glow. When I'm in the mood for a more noticeable makeup look, I simply add another layer and the color becomes richer without looking patchy.
I also love the fresh effect it gives my complexion. There are certain blushes that look like makeup, and then there are blushes that look like naturally rosy cheeks after a brisk walk outside. This one leans closer to the second category. Whenever my makeup feels a little boring, Berry Lava usually fixes that problem within seconds.

2. Revlon Adorable Cheek Blush Rubor

This blush reminds me of those products that quietly become favorites without making a big entrance. The shade is easy to wear, easy to blend, and easy to fit into almost any makeup look. Some mornings, I barely have enough time to finish my coffee before leaving the house, so products that require minimal effort automatically earn extra points.
A few sweeps across the cheeks instantly make my face look more awake. The color doesn't compete with the rest of my makeup, which is probably why I find myself reaching for it so often. There's also something reassuring about knowing exactly how a product will perform every time. No surprises, no overthinking, no spending five minutes trying to fix overly pigmented cheeks.
I don't really see these blushes as alternatives to each other. Barenbliss Moist Mochi 02 Berry Lava comes out when I want a little more personality in my makeup. It adds vibrancy and gives the cheeks a lively, healthy-looking flush. Revlon Adorable Cheek Blush Rubor feels more like an everyday essential—the blush I can apply without even looking too closely in the mirror. Depending on the day, either one could become my favorite.
