Eyeshadow Palettes I Kept!

· Fashion team
Welcome, Lykkers! If you're anything like me, choosing an eyeshadow palette can take longer than actually doing your makeup.
Some palettes look beautiful at first glance but end up collecting dust, while others quietly become everyday favorites.
Today I wanted to share my thoughts on two palettes I've been using recently. They each have their own personality, and while neither is perfect, both have something worth talking about.
1. Secondate Rude Eyeshadow Palette — 8/10
The first thing that caught my attention was the color selection. It mixes wearable neutral shades with a few deeper tones that make it easy to create both soft daytime looks and slightly more dramatic evening makeup. I like that I don't have to reach for another palette just to finish a complete eye look.
The matte shadows perform better than I expected. They blend without much effort and don't become patchy, even when I build up the color little by little. The shimmer shades have a smooth finish that looks pretty under natural light, although I usually apply them with my fingertip because that gives the strongest shine.
The reason I settled on an 8/10 is that a few shades aren't equally pigmented. Some lighter colors need an extra layer before they really show up, especially if I'm in a hurry.
2. Moonshot Rêve de Paris Eyeshadow Palette — 8.5/10
This palette immediately feels a little more refined. The color story is elegant, with soft romantic tones that remind me of mornings in spring. Whenever I want my makeup to look effortless but polished, this is usually the palette I reach for first. One thing I genuinely enjoy is the texture.
The shadows feel silky, blend beautifully, and transition smoothly from one shade to another. The shimmer shades give a delicate glow instead of an overpowering sparkle, making the finished look sophisticated rather than flashy.
I rated it 8.5/10 because the overall quality feels slightly more consistent than the first palette. My only small complaint is that the color range leans toward softer looks, so if I'm in the mood for bold, smoky eyes, I need to pair it with darker shades from another palette. Still, for everyday wear, it's easily one of the prettier palettes in my collection.
After spending time with both palettes, I realized they serve different moods rather than competing with each other. The Secondate Rude Eyeshadow Palette is my choice when I want versatility and easy everyday combinations, while the Moonshot Rêve de Paris Eyeshadow Palette wins me over with its smooth formula and effortlessly elegant finish.
