Hey, Lykkers! If there's one makeup product I keep buying even when I already have too many, it's lip gloss. I just love how a glossy lip can instantly make my whole face look fresher.

Of course, not every gloss becomes a favorite, so here's how I'd rate the ones I've been using lately.

1. Glossier Lip Gloss — 3.5/5

I wanted to love this one because I'd heard so many people talk about it. The shine is beautiful, and it definitely gives that classic glass-like finish. For me, though, it didn't become an everyday essential. I still enjoy wearing it from time to time, but it isn't the gloss I automatically reach for before leaving the house. 3.5/5 feels like a fair score.

2. Secondate Gel Lip Gloss — 3/5

This gloss was just... okay for me. It adds a nice layer of shine and feels comfortable enough, but I never found myself getting excited to use it. Every time I opened my makeup pouch, there always seemed to be another gloss I'd choose first. It isn't bad at all—it just didn't leave a lasting impression. 3/5.

3. Rom&nd Glasting Water Gloss — 100/5

If I could only keep one lip gloss from my collection, this would be it without a second thought. Seriously, I don't even know how many times I've reached for it. The finish makes my lips look so juicy without feeling heavy or overly sticky, and it somehow works with every makeup look I wear. Even on no-makeup days, I'll throw this on because it instantly makes me feel more put together. This is one of those rare products that completely lives up to the hype for me, so yes... 100/5 without any hesitation.

I think finding the perfect lip gloss is all about discovering one that makes you want to keep reaching for it. I've tried plenty over the years, but only a few have earned a permanent spot in my makeup bag. Right now, Rom&nd is still my clear favorite, while the others have their own moments depending on the look I'm going for. I'm sure I'll keep trying new releases, but it'll take something really special to beat the one I'm currently obsessed with.
