Hi Readers! Lip tint is probably one of the easiest ways for me to make my makeup look finished without putting in much effort. I love the mix of color and shine, especially when the finish still feels comfortable on my lips.
Lately, two formulas have caught my attention: Laka Fruity Glam Tint and Mango People Hydrating Glossy Fruit Lip Stain.

1. Laka Fruity Glam Tint — $18

This one has that juicy lip look I’m always drawn to. The glossy finish makes my lips look fresh right when I apply it, while the tint leaves a soft wash of color behind. I can keep the color subtle with one swipe or add another layer when I want something more noticeable. It’s also the kind of formula I can picture carrying around for everyday makeup because it doesn’t make my routine feel fussy. What I enjoy most is being able to play with the intensity.

2. Mango People Hydrating Glossy Fruit Lip Stain — $18

Glossy and hydrating is a combination I have a hard time saying no to. Mango People’s lip stain gives my lips a shiny, fresh finish while adding a pretty wash of color. I like having that comfortable feel because some lip tints can leave my lips feeling dry as the day goes on. The formula also makes sense for those mornings when I want my lips to look polished without reaching for multiple products. I’d probably keep this one close for quick makeup days. Swipe it on, add the rest of my basics, and I’m ready to go.
Choosing between the two would depend on the finish I’m craving that day. Laka wins me over with its juicy tint and buildable color, while Mango People appeals to me when hydration and gloss are higher on my list. Both would be easy additions to an everyday lip collection. For me, a great lip tint should make getting ready feel easier, not like another step I have to think too hard about.
