Welcome, Lykkers! Soft pink eyeshadow has a funny way of changing the whole makeup mood. Sometimes it looks sweet and fresh, while a slightly deeper pink can make the eyes feel polished and romantic without becoming too dramatic.
Lately, I have been drawn to palettes that make pink the main character rather than treating it as just one bright shade hiding between browns and neutrals.
1. ColourPop Cloud Spun — Soft Pink Without Feeling Too Much
The ColourPop Cloud Spun 9-pan pressed powder palette immediately caught my attention because of its soft pink theme. The shades feel playful, but they are still wearable enough for an everyday makeup routine. What I like most is the flexibility. A pale pink can create a subtle wash across the lids, while the deeper shades help add definition when I want something more noticeable. I can keep the look almost barely-there for daytime or build the color for a prettier evening finish.
2. Charlotte Tilbury Pink Love — A More Polished Pink Mood
Charlotte Tilbury's Palette of Beautifying Eye Trends in Pink Love gives me a completely different feeling. Rather than playful and youthful, the color story feels more refined and romantic. I especially enjoy reaching for it when I want my eye makeup to look put together without becoming dramatic. The pink tones can create a soft daytime appearance, but the deeper shades add enough dimension for dinner plans or a dressed-up occasion.
If pink is already a favorite in my makeup routine, owning both would not feel unnecessary. Cloud Spun satisfies the playful side, while Pink Love gives me that refined option when I want a little extra elegance. Sometimes the best palette is not the one with the most shades. It is the one that makes me want to sit down, pick up a brush, and start creating. For me, both of these pink palettes manage to do exactly that.
