Friends, I’m all about a glow that catches the light without taking over the whole makeup look. Liquid highlighter makes that easy because I can sheer it out, layer it up, or mix a little into my base.
Two formulas that have been especially fun to play with are the Armani Beauty Fluid Sheer and Profusion Cosmetics Radiant Glow.
1. Armani Beauty Fluid Sheer Glow Enhancer — Peach
The Armani Beauty Fluid Sheer Glow Enhancer in Peach gives me that soft, warm radiance I love when my makeup needs a little life. The peach tone works beautifully with blush, especially when I want my cheeks to look fresh instead of simply sparkly. I usually tap a small amount onto the tops of my cheeks and blend it outward with my fingertips. A little goes surprisingly far, so I prefer starting with a tiny drop and building from there. Mixing a touch into foundation is another favorite trick when I want the entire complexion to have a subtle glow.
2. Profusion Cosmetics Radiant Glow Illuminating Liquid Highlighter — Rose Quartz
Profusion Cosmetics Radiant Glow Illuminating Liquid Highlighter in Rose Quartz brings a slightly more playful feel to my makeup bag. The rosy tone gives my cheeks a pretty reflective finish, and I like how easily it can be adjusted depending on my mood. For daytime, I keep the application sheer and blend it into the cheek area. When I’m getting ready for an evening look, adding another thin layer makes the glow much more noticeable. I also like placing a tiny amount above the blush rather than directly over it, which helps create more dimension.
Armani Beauty Fluid Sheer in Peach gives me a warm, refined glow, while Profusion Rose Quartz adds a rosier touch with a little more playfulness. Both give me plenty of control, which is exactly what I want from a liquid highlighter. Some days call for barely-there radiance; other days deserve a little extra shine. Which shade would you reach for first—peach or Rose Quartz?
