Toner step getting boring, Lykkers? Not with these two! I love having a toner that feels refreshing after cleansing but still gives the skin that extra comfortable, hydrated feeling.
These are the two I keep coming back to when I want something simple but effective.
1. Haruharu Black Rice Hyaluronic Toner for Sensitive Skin
Price: $15
This is the toner I reach for when my skin wants hydration without the sticky feeling. The texture is light, watery, and super easy to layer with the rest of my routine. The black rice + hyaluronic acid combination makes it feel like a little hydration boost right after cleansing. I can apply it, move on to serum, and then moisturizer without feeling like I have too many layers sitting on my skin. And honestly, the best part? It doesn't make toner feel like an unnecessary step. A quick pat into the skin and I'm ready for the next product!
2. Anua Heartleaf 77 Soothing Toner
Price: $21
Anua’s Heartleaf 77 is the one I grab when I want my skincare routine to feel extra soothing. The formula contains 77% heartleaf extract and has a lightweight, watery texture that feels refreshing on the skin. I like using this when my skin is having one of those days and I don't want to throw a bunch of products at it. Just a simple layer after cleansing, followed by the usual moisturizer and sunscreen. It also layers beautifully, so there’s no need to worry about it feeling heavy or getting in the way of the rest of the routine.
Two toners, two different moods! Haruharu is my pick when hydration is the priority, while Anua is perfect for those days when a soothing step sounds especially good. Sometimes the little toner step is what makes the whole skincare routine feel complete.
