Hello Lykkers! I’ve always felt like blush can make a simple makeup routine feel much more finished. Even with just concealer, brows, and lip color, adding a little pink to the cheeks gives everything more life.
Lately, I’ve been using two powder blushes that have been especially easy to work into my routine.

1. bareMinerals Gen Powder Blush – Pretty in Pink

Pretty in Pink is such an easy shade for me to wear. It gives the cheeks a soft pink touch without taking over the rest of my makeup. I especially like it on days when I’m keeping my eyes simple and wearing a lighter lip color. The powder applies nicely with a fluffy brush, and I prefer starting with a small amount before building it up. That makes it easier to get the exact level of color I want without accidentally going overboard. What keeps bringing me back to this shade is its versatility.

2. Revlon Powder Blush Face Makeup – Oh Baby! Pink

Oh Baby! Pink is the one I pick when I want a brighter pop of pink on my cheeks. The color feels cheerful and noticeable, but I can still keep the rest of my makeup quite simple. I like placing a little higher on the cheeks and blending outward with a clean brush. A light layer gives me a subtle touch of color, while adding a little more makes the blush much easier to notice in photos. I also like pairing it with soft pink lipstick or a neutral lip. It gives the makeup a coordinated finish without needing a complicated routine.
If I had to choose just one for everyday use, I’d probably pick Pretty in Pink because it is so easy to pair with different makeup. Oh Baby! Pink is a great choice when I want a stronger pink cheek without adding much else. For me, blush is one of those small makeup steps that can change the whole finished result. A few swipes, a little blending, and suddenly the makeup feels much more put together. Sometimes that’s all I need.
