Hello Lykkers! Brown lips have been having a serious moment in my makeup bag. I love how a brown-toned lip can make even a very simple makeup look feel more put together, whether the finish is sheer and glossy or rich and noticeable.
My favorite part is having different depths to choose from, because sometimes I want barely-there color and other days I want that deeper chocolatey look.

1. CNP Propolis Jelly Tinted Lipcerin — Caramel Pudding — $16

Caramel Pudding is the easiest one of the three for me to wear casually. The brown tint is quite light, giving the lips a soft neutral wash rather than a dramatic brown lip. I would reach for it on no-makeup makeup days, especially when I want my lips to look moisturized but still have a little color. It has that effortless “my lips but warmer” effect that works beautifully with minimal makeup. For me, this is the handbag pick—the kind of lip product I can apply without a mirror and still feel polished.

2. Eadem Le Chouchou Lip Balm — Boba Bounce — $24

Boba Bounce takes the brown lip idea much further. It is the darkest of the three and has a buildable balm-meets-gloss feel, so I can control how intense I want the color to look. A small amount already gives plenty of impact, which means I would start with a light layer and add more only when I want that deeper finish. I especially like the versatility because one product can create either a subtle brown tint or a richer lip look.

3. Fenty Gloss Heat — Hot Chocolit — $26

The warm brown shade gives the lips a gorgeous chocolate-inspired look, while the plumping gloss finish makes everything appear fuller and more glossy. I love how easy it is to pair with different makeup styles. Soft bronzer and mascara? Perfect. Full glam? Also works. The shade has enough warmth to feel flattering across a range of complexions.
My mood usually decides which one comes out of the makeup bag. Honestly, having three shades of brown in different intensities makes the category much more fun. Sometimes subtle caramel is enough; sometimes I want full chocolate.
