There is something dangerously addictive about finding a lip product that actually makes you want to reapply it.

These three all give that smooth, glossy finish I love, but they each have a slightly different personality: one is soft and cushiony, one is all about glassy shine, and one delivers colour without losing that balm-like comfort.

EADEM Le Chouchou

This one immediately stands out because of the applicator. The metal tip feels cooling on the lips, which somehow makes the whole thing feel far more luxurious than a basic squeeze-tube balm.

The texture itself is glossy without feeling overly sticky, and the pink tint is exactly the kind of shade that makes the lips look healthier rather than obviously made-up. Sakura Shaved Ice gives that soft flushed effect that works beautifully on its own or over a lip liner.

I also like how comfortable it feels after the initial shine settles. It has more of a conditioning balm personality than a traditional gloss, which makes it easy to wear throughout the day.

Point of View Lip Ampoule

If your main goal is maximum glass-like shine, this is the most obvious choice of the three. The finish is smooth, reflective and very polished, almost like a transparent lacquer sitting over the lips.

Vanilla Latte is the shade I find especially interesting because it gives that muted nudе effect without looking flat. Clear OG, meanwhile, is perfect when you simply want to amplify whatever lipstick or liner you are already wearing.

The texture feels more like a lip ampoule than a classic sticky gloss, so despite the intense shine, it still feels comfortable. I would reach for this when I want the lips to look visibly fuller and extra glossy without adding a strong colour.

Rhode Peptide Lip Tint

Rhode Peptide Lip Tint — around €22

This is probably the easiest everyday option. Rhode's Peptide Lip Tint sits somewhere between a balm, treatment and sheer gloss, which is exactly why it works so well for casual makeup.

Sweet Pea gives a fresh pink finish that brightens the face instantly, while Pretzel is much moodier and deeper, with that soft brown-plum tone that looks particularly good with neutral makeup.

The updated formula feels smoother and gives the lips a genuinely juicy finish without requiring another product underneath. Pretzel is the shade I would choose when I want something more noticeable, while Sweet Pea is ideal for everyday wear.

These three all give shine, but not in quite the same way. EADEM is the soft, pampering balm option, Point of View gives the strongest glassy effect, and Rhode is the easiest tinted everyday choice.

If I were building a small lip collection rather than collecting endless versions of the same glossy formula, these three would actually make sense together because each one fills a different role.
