Good Day, Lykkers! Dry, chapped lips can make even the simplest lip routine feel frustrating. I’ve found that layering products works much better for me than relying on one balm alone. This trio gives my lips hydration first, then helps lock everything in for longer-lasting comfort.

1. Junoco Lip Milk

I always like starting with Junoco Lip Milk because it feels more like a conditioning treatment than a traditional lip balm. The milky texture feels soothing on dry lips, while the cool-touch applicator makes applying it especially satisfying. I gently swipe it over my lips and let that first layer settle before moving on. For me, this is the hydration step that makes my lips feel softer and more comfortable.

2. Vaseline Jelly Stick

Next comes one of my favorite affordable lip products: the Vaseline Jelly Stick. It’s simple, convenient, and easy to keep within reach throughout the day. I use it over the Lip Milk to help seal in moisture. The stick format is another reason I love it because I can toss it into my bag and apply it without getting product all over my fingers. For something so simple, it has definitely earned its spot in my lip-care routine.

3. Topicals Slick Salve

I save Topicals Slick Salve for the final layer because its thick, cushiony texture is exactly what my lips need when they’re feeling extra dry. The slightly sticky finish doesn’t bother me because it helps the balm stay on longer. I also love the glossy finish—it makes my lips look juicy while giving them that extra layer of protection.
When my lips are feeling dry and rough, this is the combination I keep coming back to. Junoco gives me that first hit of hydration, Vaseline helps keep it in place, and Topicals finishes everything with a glossy layer of comfort. Honestly, there’s something so satisfying about waking up with soft, moisturized lips instead of reaching for lip balm every five minutes.
