Welcome, Lykkers! Two skin tints, two very different experiences! I’ve been trying to decide which one deserves a permanent spot in my makeup bag, so I’m putting Make Up For Ever and Milk Makeup head-to-head.
Both have a lightweight feel, but one definitely impressed me more.
1. Make Up For Ever Super Boost Skin Tint
My rating: 8/10
I like this one when I want my base to feel comfortable and hydrated. The formula includes ingredients such as hyaluronic acid and polyglutamic acid, while the coverage stays on the lighter side with a natural-looking finish. On my skin, it gives me a fresh and easy everyday base without looking too heavy. The result is pretty, especially for those simple makeup days when I want some coverage but still want my skin to look like skin.
2. Milk Makeup Hydro Grip 12-Hour Hydrating Skin Tint
My rating: 9.5/10
Okay, Milk Makeup really caught my attention with this one. The light-to-medium coverage gives me more flexibility, while the natural dewy finish makes my skin look fresh without feeling overly shiny. What I love most is the way it creates that soft, almost filtered effect while still looking believable. I also appreciate how well it holds up throughout the day. For me, a skin tint becomes much more impressive when I don't have to keep checking the mirror or reaching for a makeup sponge.
The Make Up For Ever formula is definitely good, but Milk feels more exciting to me. When a skin tint makes me look in the mirror and think, “Okay, my skin looks really good today,” that’s the one I want in my makeup bag.
