Welcome to my little hair-care corner! I’ve always had a soft spot for coconut-based products because they can make a normal shampoo day feel a bit more luxurious.
So, I put two popular options side by side: Bumble and bumble Creme De Coco Coconut Shampoo and SheaMoisture Coconut & Hibiscus Curl & Shine Shampoo. They both bring coconut into the formula, but the experience is quite different.

1. Bumble and bumble Creme De Coco Coconut Shampoo

I’d reach for Bumble and bumble when I want my hair-wash routine to feel simple but polished. The formula is designed with dry hair in mind, and the coconut-inspired formula gives the whole experience a creamy, soft feel. What I personally like is the more understated vibe. It doesn’t feel like I’m using a shampoo made specifically to create a huge dramatic effect. Instead, it fits nicely into a regular routine when my hair feels like it needs a little extra softness.

2. SheaMoisture Coconut & Hibiscus Curl & Shine Shampoo

SheaMoisture takes a different direction, especially for anyone with curls or waves. Coconut oil and hibiscus are part of the formula, while the product is made with textured hair in mind. I’d personally consider this one when my hair needs more moisture and I want my curls to feel less dry and easier to manage. The formula has a richer personality than a basic everyday shampoo, which makes sense for hair that tends to need more conditioning care.
If coconut shampoo is already sitting on my beauty wishlist, I’d choose based on the mood of my hair rather than the ingredient alone. Bumble and bumble feels more refined and easygoing, while SheaMoisture brings a richer curl-focused personality. Sometimes the best shampoo choice isn’t about finding the “best” bottle. It’s about finding the one that makes my own hair routine feel better.
