Greetings, Lykkers! Dark spots are one of those skincare concerns that can take forever to fade, so I’m much more interested in serums I can actually enjoy using consistently.
These three caught my attention for different reasons, from a seriously affordable option to a more luxurious splurge.

1. Good Molecules Discoloration Correcting Serum — $12

For $12, Good Molecules makes it very easy to give a discoloration serum a try. I like this one for a simple routine because it focuses on uneven-looking skin without making the whole shelf feel like a chemistry lab. The lightweight texture is easy to layer under moisturizer, and the price makes regular use feel much less stressful. I’d reach for it when I want a straightforward serum without spending a fortune.

2. Sunday Riley B3 Nice Niacinamide Serum — $65

Sunday Riley B3 Nice Niacinamide Serum is the splurge of the group, but it brings a more elevated skincare experience. Niacinamide makes it appealing for an uneven-looking complexion, while the serum format slips easily into a morning or evening routine. I like products that can sit comfortably alongside the rest of my skincare rather than forcing me to rebuild everything around them. This feels like a polished addition when I’m willing to spend more for a treatment-focused serum.

3. GOODAL Vita C Dark Spot Care Serum — $31

GOODAL Vita C Dark Spot Care Serum is the one I’d grab when I’m craving a vitamin C-focused step. It has that brightening-serum appeal without reaching the price range of Sunday Riley. I like using a few drops in the morning before moisturizer and sunscreen. The vitamin C angle makes it especially tempting for days when my complexion looks tired or uneven.
Good Molecules wins the budget battle, Sunday Riley is the luxe pick, and GOODAL lands nicely in the middle with its vitamin C focus. For me, the real trick with dark-spot serums is resisting the urge to switch products every few weeks. I’d rather choose one that fits my routine, use it consistently, and give my skin enough time to show me what it can do.
