Hi Girls! As a vanilla girly, I will happily choose vanilla in basically every form. Candles? Obviously. Body care? Always. And lippies are absolutely included.

I’m pretty picky about lip balms and masks, especially when I’m paying more than a few dollars for them. So, after trying a bunch, these are the ones I actually enjoy reaching for.

1. e.l.f. Squeeze Me Lip Balm

My rating: 8/10

e.l.f. Squeeze Me Lip Balm is seriously good. It’s scented rather than flavored, which I actually prefer, and it leaves my lips feeling nicely hydrated. The little tube is convenient, although I do wish it came in a bigger size. It’s also slightly sticky, so that can be annoying when I’m putting my hair down or drinking from a cup. Still, for an affordable everyday lip balm? I’m impressed.

2. Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm

My rating: 7/10

I know Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm gets very mixed opinions, but personally, I’m a fan. The scent is heavenly and gives major vanilla-dessert energy without actually being a flavored lip product. Compared with the e.l.f. balm, I find this one noticeably stickier. I also tend to squeeze out more product than I really need, which makes the tube disappear faster than I’d like. For something that isn't exactly cheap, I expect the tube to feel completely filled. Getting less product than expected definitely took a few points away.

3. Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask

My rating: 9/10

Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask has been a nighttime favorite for me. I know there are mixed opinions about it, but I've personally had a really good experience. I use a small amount before bed, and by morning my lips feel noticeably softer and well moisturized. The texture is rich, but thankfully, I don't need much to cover my lips. The jar is definitely on the pricier side for its size, yet a little goes a surprisingly long way. That makes the price easier for me to accept.

My little vanilla lineup has three different winners: e.l.f. for keeping things affordable, Summer Fridays for that dreamy scent, and Laneige for my nighttime lip routine. And yes, the vanilla obsession continues. At this point, I’m not even trying to fight it.
