Liquid bronzers are having a moment, and suddenly there are launches everywhere.
I didn’t plan on buying any at first, but curiosity got the best of me—so I tested these two to see which one actually deserves a spot in a makeup routine. If you’re stuck deciding between them, here’s my honest experience!
1. Saie Liquid Bronzer
The formula itself is honestly beautiful. It’s smooth, very pigmented, and blends easily on the skin. A little goes a long way, which I appreciate. That said, the shade just didn’t work for me. On my skin tone, it pulled muddy rather than bronzy, which made it look off no matter how I applied it.
2. Makeup by Mario Liquid Bronzer
This one immediately felt more “my style.” The finish is natural with a soft glow that melts into the skin beautifully. The double-ended applicator deserves special praise—it makes application quick and controlled. The formula is on the sheerer side, but it builds easily without getting patchy. The shade range could definitely go deeper, but the lighter shades are well thought out.
Both products have strong points, but they cater to different preferences. One delivers high pigment but didn’t suit my skin tone or lifestyle, while the other feels effortless, glowy, and more foolproof for everyday wear. If you’re deciding between the two, think about the finish you prefer, how much pigment you like, and whether packaging matters to you. For me, Makeup by Mario was the clear winner!
