I rotate through skincare products all the time, so actually finishing something says a lot.
An empty bottle usually means the product earned its place in my routine and delivered real results. These are my recent skincare empties and my honest thoughts on whether I’d buy them again!
1. The Ordinary
This one didn’t last long in my routine—in the best way. I repurchased it as soon as I noticed I was almost out. The formula is incredibly lightweight and layers perfectly under eye cream and makeup without pilling. Over time, I saw a visible improvement in the look of my under-eye area, especially puffiness. It works quietly but effectively, which I really appreciate.
2. La Roche-Posay Toleriane Cleanser
This cleanser has been a staple for years, and for good reason. It cleans thoroughly while keeping my skin comfortable and balanced. No tight feeling, no irritation—just consistently good results.
3. Elemis Nourishing Omega-Rich Cleansing Oil
This cleansing oil deserves more attention than it gets. It removes every bit of makeup effortlessly, even stubborn eye products. The texture feels luxurious, and it rinses clean without leaving residue behind. While it feels like a treat to use, it also performs exceptionally well, which makes it worth it in my eyes.
4. Goodal Vita C Toner Pad+
I had high expectations going into this one since I’ve heard great things about the brand. While it was gentle and easy to use, I didn’t notice any visible changes in my skin over time. It wasn’t bad by any means, but it didn’t stand out enough for me to reach for it again.
Finishing a skincare product is the ultimate test, and most of these passed with flying colors. From reliable staples to hidden gems, these empties reflect what truly works for my skin. A few are definite repurchases, while others were nice to try but not essential for my routine moving forward.
