Retinol Eyes: Worth It?

Dark under-eyes have always been one of my biggest struggles, and finding an eye cream that genuinely makes a difference hasn't been easy.
I also have pretty sensitive skin around my eyes, so anything too strong can cause irritation fast. After testing a few formulas, these are the ones that stood out—each for very different reasons!
1. Summer Fridays Retinol Eye Cream
This one is the gentlest option I've used, and it works beautifully for anyone who needs retinol in a softer, more soothing form. The texture feels comforting, and it layers well under makeup without causing flaking or dryness. For sensitive under-eyes, this is the safest place to start since it smooths the area gradually without that harsh retinol sting.
2. Beauty of Joseon Retinol Eye Serum
When you want quicker results and don't struggle with sensitivity, this formula steps in and delivers. It's more potent, so it targets dark circles and fine lines with a bit more intensity. I've noticed that it brightens the under-eye faster, but it definitely isn't the best match for delicate skin. Great for people who want efficiency over gentleness.
Both options serve their purpose depending on what your skin can tolerate. Summer Fridays is the gentle, steady approach that keeps irritation away, while Beauty of Joseon brings visible results sooner but might be too strong for sensitive eyes. I'm still on the hunt for the perfect match, but these two have given me the most noticeable improvement so far.
