Finding the perfect body sunscreen can be tricky.

Some formulas feel amazing on the skin but come with small compromises. These are a few sunscreens I still reach for regularly, even if they weren’t perfect for every use.

1. Serious Shade

I love how lightweight this formula feels—it blends effortlessly, much like many Asian sunscreens, and leaves no white cast. It’s affordable and practical for everyday body use. The downside is that it stings my eyes, which is frustrating, but I still enjoy using it on my body because it’s so comfortable and easy to apply.

2. Josie Maran

This sunscreen is a bit thicker than Serious Shade. While it works beautifully on the body, giving a smooth and polished finish, it didn’t sit well on my oily face. For those with dry or combination skin, it might work well on the face, but on me, it looked greasy. It’s perfect for body use, especially in summer when you want extra hydration.

3. Sand & Sky

A visually appealing formula, this sunscreen is lightweight, blends effortlessly, and leaves no white cast. It even seemed to help with my redness a little. Unfortunately, it stings my eyes, which limits where I can comfortably use it. Despite that, I still enjoy it for body application thanks to the smooth, breathable finish.

Each of these sunscreens has something special—lightweight texture, no white cast, and great body coverage!
