Eyeshadow Palettes I Keep!

· Fashion team
Some days I don’t feel like experimenting too much with eyeshadow. I just want shades that already make sense together, tones that don’t fight each other, colors that sit quietly but still do something.
Lately, I’ve been going back and forth between two palettes that give me that exact feeling—nothing complicated, just reliable in their own way.
1. ColourPop Making Mauve
This palette feels like a calm, slightly moody afternoon. The mauve tones aren’t loud, but they carry enough depth to make the eyes look more defined without needing too many steps. I like how the shades lean a bit dusty, almost muted, which makes everything blend together without looking harsh. On days when I want something soft but not boring, this is usually what I reach for. It’s easy to build up if I feel like adding more dimension, but it also works when I keep it minimal. There’s a quiet versatility to it that keeps me from getting tired of it.
2. Etude Dusty Cat
“Dusty Cat” has a slightly different mood—lighter, a bit more delicate, almost like a gentle wash of color rather than a full statement. The tones feel airy, and I tend to use them when I want my makeup to look effortless, like I didn’t spend much time on it (even if I did). It doesn’t overwhelm the eyes, which makes it perfect for slower days or when I’m going for something more understated. The shades melt into each other in a way that feels natural, not overly structured.
Both palettes sit in that same soft, muted world, but they bring different energy. Making Mauves leans a little deeper and more defined, while Dusty Cat keeps things light and subtle. Having both makes it easy to shift without thinking too much about it.
