Blush has always been that one step I almost skip—until I don’t. Because the moment it touches the cheeks, everything feels more awake, more complete, like the look finally makes sense.
Lately, I’ve been going back and forth between two shades that couldn’t feel more different, yet somehow both work: ESQA in Milan and Emina Bitter Sweet.
1. ESQA – Milan
Milan carries a soft elegance that doesn’t try too hard. The tone feels refined, like a gentle flush that leans slightly warm but still stays balanced. I usually reach for this when I want something that blends quietly into the skin without stealing attention from the rest of my makeup.
It gives that “put together without effort” impression, which I appreciate on days when I don’t want to think too much. There’s a smoothness to how it applies that makes it easy to control, even when I’m rushing.
2. Emina – Bitter Sweet
Bitter Sweet feels more playful, a little brighter, and definitely more noticeable. It adds a lively touch that instantly changes the mood of the look. When I use this shade, everything feels a bit more cheerful, like there’s a spark of energy that wasn’t there before. I like how it builds—starting soft but easily becoming more vibrant if I want it to. It’s the one I go for when I’m in the mood for something less subtle.
Between Milan and Bitter Sweet, it really comes down to how I feel that day. One leans calm and refined, the other brings a brighter, more expressive side. Having both makes my routine feel less predictable, and somehow, that small choice of color can shift the entire vibe before I even step out the door.
