Gel Creams I Keep Using

· Fashion team
Hey Lykkers! I'm very picky when it comes to moisturizers. If a formula feels greasy, sticky, or takes forever to absorb, there's a good chance it'll end up forgotten at the back of my shelf.
Lately, I've been reaching for lightweight gel moisturizers that give my skin hydration without making it feel overloaded. These two have been standouts for slightly different reasons.
Biossance Squalane + Probiotic Gel Moisturizer ($54)
This is the moisturizer I reach for when my skin feels a little out of balance. The texture is cooling, lightweight, and sinks in surprisingly fast, but it still leaves my skin feeling comfortably hydrated for hours. I love that it gives a healthy glow without crossing into greasy territory.
What stands out most is how refreshed my skin feels after applying it. On days when my complexion looks tired or dehydrated, this moisturizer brings back that plump, well-rested look.
Summer Fridays Cloud Dew Oil-Free Gel Cream ($45)
The name "Cloud Dew" is actually pretty accurate. This moisturizer feels incredibly airy, almost like a drink of water for the skin. The gel-cream texture spreads effortlessly and disappears within seconds, making it perfect for mornings when I'm layering sunscreen and makeup on top. I especially love using this during warmer weather because it hydrates without feeling rich or heavy. My skin feels soft, bouncy, and fresh, but never shiny.
If my skin is feeling stressed, dehydrated, or in need of a little extra support, I'd lean toward the Biossance. If I want something ultra-lightweight that works beautifully under makeup, the Summer Fridays Cloud Dew gets my vote. Both deliver hydration without the heaviness, which is exactly what I look for in a moisturizer. And honestly? Having to choose between them feels a little unfair.
