The Oils I Keep Using

Lykkers, for the longest time I avoided oils completely. Since I already have oily skin, I assumed adding an oil on top would only make things worse.
I was convinced they'd clog my pores, feel greasy, and leave my skin looking shiny all day. Turns out, I was totally wrong.
The key was finding lightweight formulas and using them in ways that work for my skin. I don't slather oil all over my face, but I do love using it on certain areas that need extra care.

1. Byoma Hydrating Recovery Oil

This product completely changed my opinion on oils. What surprised me most is how lightweight it feels. Instead of sitting heavily on the skin, it absorbs nicely and has more of a "dry oil" finish. Whenever I have flaky patches left behind from healing breakouts, I like to dab a tiny amount directly onto those areas.
It helps make my skin feel more comfortable and gives those dry spots a little extra hydration without feeling greasy. I've even used it on my lips before bed and occasionally on my neck when it feels a bit dry. For someone with oily skin, this is probably the easiest oil I've tried.

2. Stripped Beauty Glow To Oil

This one has become my go-to whenever my skin is looking a little dull. The texture feels nourishing without being overwhelming, and I only need a few drops to get that healthy, hydrated glow. I especially enjoy mixing a small amount into my nighttime routine when my skin feels tired or dehydrated.
What I like most is that it leaves my skin looking fresh and radiant rather than oily. It gives that "well-rested" look that makes it seem like I've been drinking enough water and getting eight hours of sleep—even when I haven't.
If you have oily skin, don't write off oils immediately like I did. The trick isn't using a lot—it's finding the right formula and using it where your skin actually needs it. Both of these products give me hydration and comfort without making my skin feel heavy or congested. Sometimes oily skin needs a little extra nourishment too, and these are the products that helped me realize that.
