Lykkers, finding the right toner can be surprisingly difficult when you have oily, acne-prone skin.
I've learned that my skin responds best to lightweight, watery formulas that help calm irritation without making my face feel sticky or overloaded. The goal is to keep it balanced, comfortable, and less reactive.
These three toners have become regulars in my routine, and each one serves a different purpose.

1. Anua Heartleaf 77% Soothing Toner

This is one of those products that became popular online, and for once, I completely understand why. The texture is incredibly light, almost like water, so it never feels heavy on my skin. Most mornings, I pour a few drops into my hands and gently press it in after cleansing. Within seconds, it disappears into the skin and leaves behind a fresh, comfortable feeling.
What keeps me reaching for it is how soothing it feels. Whenever my skin looks a little flushed or irritated, this toner helps everything feel calmer. It also provides a nice layer of hydration without adding shine, which is something my oily skin appreciates. If someone asked me for a beginner-friendly toner recommendation, this would probably be one of my first suggestions.

2. Rael Beauty Miracle Clear Clarifying Toner

This toner stands out because of its ingredient combination. The formula contains succinic acid, which helps keep my skin looking clearer and more refined, while panthenol adds a touch of hydration and support. It's the kind of toner that feels like it's doing a little extra without being harsh.
Unlike the Anua toner, I usually apply this one with a cotton pad. It leaves my skin feeling refreshed and clean, but never tight or uncomfortable. There's also a subtle scent that reminds me of freshly washed linens. It's noticeable when first applied, but it fades quickly and doesn't linger throughout the day. On weeks when my skin feels a bit more congested than usual, this is often the toner I find myself reaching for.

3. COSRX Pure Fit Cica Toner

Whenever my skin is having a rough week, this toner usually finds its way back into my routine. The formula feels incredibly gentle and comforting, making it a great option for days when my skin feels irritated or sensitive. Instead of focusing on exfoliation or intensive treatment, it prioritizes helping the skin feel calm and supported.
I especially enjoy using this after a long day or whenever my skin barrier feels a little compromised. The lightweight texture sinks in quickly, yet my skin always feels more comfortable afterward. It's one of those products that doesn't demand attention but quietly makes a difference over time.
These toners may all fall into the same category, but I use them for completely different reasons. Anua is my everyday soothing favorite, Rael is the one I reach for when I want a little extra help keeping my skin clear, and COSRX is my comfort pick whenever my skin needs a gentler touch.
Having oily, acne-prone skin doesn't mean choosing between hydration and blemish care—you can absolutely have both. For me, these three toners strike that balance beautifully.
