Welcome, Lykkers! Lately, I’ve been paying a lot more attention to my hair. For the longest time, my routine was basically shampoo, conditioner, and done.
But recently, I've been trying to build healthier habits and figure out which products actually make a difference.
I'm still in the trial-and-error phase, but these two products have managed to stay in my rotation. They serve different purposes, yet both have been enjoyable additions to my routine.

1. Gisou Honey Infused Hair Oil

Approximate Price: $46
This is one of those products I was curious about for a long time before finally trying it. The first thing I noticed was the texture—it feels lightweight when I spread it through my hands, but still rich enough to make my hair feel nourished. What I like most is that it adds softness and shine without making my hair feel greasy. Some hair oils can leave my strands looking flat, but this one seems to strike a nice balance.
I'll admit it's definitely on the expensive side, so I don't use more than I need. Still, every time I apply it, my hair feels smoother and looks a little more polished. Out of the Gisou products I've tried, this might be my favorite so far.

2. Hair Proud All-In-One Leave-In & Heat Protectant

Approximate Price: $8.95
I originally picked this up because I wanted a heat protectant that wouldn't add another complicated step to my routine. Since it's designed as both a leave-in treatment and heat protectant, it felt like an easy choice. What immediately stood out to me was the price. Haircare can get expensive quickly, so finding something budget-friendly always feels like a win.
I've been using it before styling my hair, and while heat protection isn't something I can visibly measure, it gives me peace of mind knowing I've added an extra layer of care before reaching for hot tools. The lightweight feel is another bonus because it doesn't weigh my hair down.
Right now, these two products work well together in my routine. The Hair Proud spray helps me prep and protect my hair, while the Gisou oil adds softness and helps everything look a bit more finished. I'm still experimenting with different haircare products and figuring out what works best for my hair type. But that's honestly part of the fun—discovering those little products that make your hair feel just a bit healthier and more manageable.
