Good Day, Lykkers! A good cleanser sets the mood for the rest of my skincare routine. I usually want something that leaves my skin feeling fresh without giving me that uncomfortable, overly stripped feeling afterward.
Foam cleansers can be especially satisfying when I want a proper cleanse, and two formulas I’d consider for different skin concerns are medicube and SOME BY MI.

1. medicube Cleanser Zero Pore Capsule Cleansing Foam — Around $18

I like the idea of starting the day with a cleanser that focuses on the appearance of pores and excess buildup. medicube Zero Pore Capsule Cleansing Foam has a creamy-to-foamy texture that makes cleansing feel a little more like a proper skincare step. The capsule-style formula also gives it an interesting twist compared with a basic foam cleanser. I would reach for it when my skin feels congested or when I want that thoroughly cleansed feeling after a long day.

2. SOME BY MI AHA BHA PHA 30 Days Miracle Acne Clear Foam — Around $13

SOME BY MI takes a more exfoliation-focused direction with its AHA, BHA, and PHA combination. I find that appealing on days when my routine needs a little more attention toward buildup and blemish-prone areas. The three acids have different roles in skincare, so the formula feels more targeted than an ordinary daily cleanser. Still, I would be mindful about how often I use it, especially if my routine already includes exfoliating toners, retinoids, or other active products.
Medicube would be the bottle I reach for when I want a satisfying pore-focused cleanse, while SOME BY MI would come out when buildup and blemish care are more important. The real test, for me, is how skin feels a few minutes after rinsing. Clean and comfortable is the goal—not that overly tight sensation that makes me immediately reach for moisturizer.
