Hey Lykkers! Taking off makeup is honestly one of my favorite parts of the nighttime routine. I’d rather spend a few extra minutes removing everything properly than wake up with leftover mascara or foundation on my skin.
Two products I keep coming back to are Clinique Take The Day Off Remover and Heimish All Clean Balm.
1. Clinique Take The Day Off Remover for Lids, Lashes & Lips
When I’m wearing waterproof mascara or a long-lasting lip color, Clinique Take The Day Off is the one I reach for first. It’s made specifically for the eyes and lips, so I don’t have to keep rubbing those delicate areas trying to get stubborn makeup off. My favorite way to use it is to soak a cotton pad, hold it against the closed eye for a few seconds, then gently wipe. The same idea works nicely for lipstick, especially darker shades that tend to leave a little color behind.
2. Heimish All Clean Balm
Heimish All Clean Balm is my pick when I’m wearing a full face. The balm melts into the skin as I massage it, making it easy to break down foundation, sunscreen, blush, and other makeup before cleansing. I especially like using a cleansing balm on nights when I’ve layered several products. Once water is added, the texture emulsifies and rinses away, leaving the skin ready for a second cleanser. It turns makeup removal into less of a chore, which is probably why cleansing balms have become such a staple for me.
Clinique is perfect for stubborn eye and lip makeup, while Heimish makes removing a full face feel much easier. I like having both because they solve different problems. One handles the tricky areas, and the other takes care of everything else.
