A beach day for me is all about keeping things easy while still feeling put together. I don’t want to carry a huge beauty bag when all I really need are a couple of products that make sense for a day by the water.

I like applying sunscreen generously before heading outside and making sure exposed areas are covered. Spending hours near the water means I’m especially mindful about reapplying according to the product directions.

I wouldn’t treat the oil as a substitute for sunscreen, though. For me, the perfect beach routine is protection first, then a little indulgence once the day in the sun is over.
