Scents I Keep Reaching For

I have become much more selective with perfume lately. Instead of choosing something simply because it smells impressive on paper, I pay attention to whether I actually want to wear it again the next morning.
I also like having fragrances that suit different moods rather than several bottles that feel almost identical. These combinations have been especially interesting because each scent seems to change the atmosphere without making perfume feel like the loudest part of the outfit.
1. Diptyque Orphéon And Le Labo Another 13
Diptyque Orphéon and Le Labo Another 13 are the pair I associate with slightly more polished days. Orphéon feels deeper and more atmospheric to me, so I tend to reach for it when I want my fragrance to feel noticeable without being overly sweet. There is something about it that makes even a very simple outfit feel more considered. Another 13 gives me a completely different impression. On my skin it feels cleaner, softer and much more understated, almost like the kind of fragrance people notice only when they come closer. I actually enjoy alternating between them rather than deciding which one I prefer. Orphéon suits evenings, cooler days or moments when I want more presence, while Another 13 is what I choose when I want something subtle enough to wear almost anywhere.
2. Glossier You And Le Labo Another 13
Glossier You and Another 13 occupy a much softer part of my fragrance wardrobe. Glossier You is the one I reach for when I want perfume to feel casual and uncomplicated. It has that easy quality that works especially well on mornings when I do not want to spend time deciding what matches my clothes or makeup. Compared with it, Another 13 feels slightly more restrained and minimalist on me. What I like about having both is that neither feels too formal, yet they create noticeably different moods. Glossier You feels warmer and more relaxed to my nose, while Another 13 has a cleaner, almost more distant character. Some days I even find myself deciding between them purely according to how dressed-up I feel.

What I have realised from wearing these fragrances is that I do not really need perfume to announce itself immediately. I prefer scents that become part of the day and reveal themselves gradually. Orphéon gives me something richer, Glossier You keeps things easy, and Another 13 remains the quiet option I keep coming back to when I cannot decide what else to wear.
