I love a good face mask when my skin starts looking a little tired and I want to give my routine an extra step.
A mask can make an ordinary skincare night feel much more enjoyable, especially when I’m going for skin that looks fresh and well cared for.

1. Fresh Beauty — Lotus Youth Preserve Rescue Mask

Fresh Beauty’s Lotus Youth Preserve Rescue Mask is the one I’d reach for when my skin looks dull and needs a little pick-me-up. I like using a mask like this on evenings when my usual cleanser and moisturizer don’t quite feel like enough. The texture makes the experience feel more like a proper self-care step rather than something I’m rushing through. I’d apply it as part of my evening routine, give my skin some quiet time, then continue with the rest of my skincare.

2. Caudalie — Vitamin C Mask

Caudalie Vitamin C Mask is the one I’d choose when brightness is the main thing I’m after. Vitamin C is one of my favorite ingredients to see in a radiance-focused routine, especially when my complexion is looking a little lackluster. I’d use this when I want to give my skin a brighter, fresher appearance before an event or simply when I feel like adding something extra to my routine. It fits nicely into a simple skincare lineup without needing a dozen other products.
Fresh Beauty would be my choice for a relaxing, refreshing mask night, while Caudalie gets my vote when I’m specifically focusing on radiance. I don’t use masks because I expect an instant miracle. I enjoy them because they give me a chance to slow down and give my skin a little extra attention. Sometimes that small addition is exactly what makes my skincare routine feel more enjoyable.
