Skincare gets a little tricky when my skin suddenly starts feeling bumpy or irritated. I prefer keeping my routine calm and uncomplicated instead of adding product after product.
My current shortlist has three products that bring hydration, soothing care, and a little extra pampering into my routine.

1. COSRX Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence

COSRX Snail Mucin Essence is one of my favorite products when I want lightweight hydration. The texture has that slightly slippery feel I’ve come to expect from snail mucin, but it spreads easily and doesn’t require much product. I usually apply a small amount after cleansing and toner, then follow with moisturizer. My skin feels comfortable afterward, which is exactly what I want on days when I’m keeping my routine simple.

2. Anua Heartleaf 77% Soothing Toner

Anua Heartleaf 77% Soothing Toner has a completely different feel. It’s watery, light, and easy to layer, making it a nice choice when I don’t want my routine to feel heavy. I like pouring a little into my hands and patting it onto my skin right after cleansing. A couple of layers work nicely when I’m craving more hydration without reaching for a thick cream. The heartleaf-focused formula also makes this toner feel like a calming little pause in my morning or evening routine.

3. I'm From Honey Mask

The I'm From Honey Mask is my pick when I want skincare to feel more like self-care. The rich texture makes it perfect for an evening when I have time to slow down and enjoy the process. I apply a comfortable layer, leave it on according to the directions, then rinse it off before finishing with moisturizer. I don’t use a mask like this every day; once in a while is enough to make the routine feel special. For fungal-acne-prone skin, I’d personally patch test first and review the current ingredients before making it a regular part of the routine.
COSRX gives me lightweight hydration, Anua brings a watery soothing step, and I'm From adds a cozy masking moment. My biggest rule with skin that’s acting up is simple: don’t panic and don’t pile on everything at once. A slower routine gives me much more time to figure out what my skin actually likes.
