I've been loving skincare that keeps my skin hydrated without making my routine unnecessarily complicated. These two toners caught my attention for different reasons: one focuses on soothing care, while the other promises moisture and a healthy-looking glow.
Both have their place, depending on what my skin needs that day.

Hey Blue Salmon Caring Centella Toner

The Hey Blue Salmon Caring Centella Toner is the kind of product I'd reach for when my skin feels sensitive, uncomfortable or simply needs a gentler routine. Its lightweight, watery appearance makes it particularly appealing for layering, especially on days when I don't want anything heavy on my face. The formula highlights centella asiatica, a popular soothing ingredient in Korean skincare, alongside salmon-derived ingredients. I'd apply it immediately after cleansing, either with my hands or a cotton pad, and follow with a simple moisturiser. Its understated packaging and clear formula give it a refreshingly uncomplicated feel. For me, this would be the toner to consider when prioritising comfort and hydration over an elaborate skincare routine.

Anua Rice 70 Glow Milky Toner

The Anua Rice 70 + Ceramide Glow Milky Toner takes a slightly different approach. Its milky appearance immediately makes me think of soft, hydrated skin and the luminous finish I love underneath makeup. Formulated with rice water and ceramides, it's designed to moisturise and support the skin's moisture barrier while maintaining a lightweight feel. I'd choose this toner on mornings when my complexion looks a little dull or my skin needs additional nourishment without the richness of a heavy cream. The fluid texture also makes it convenient for layering beneath a serum and sunscreen. What appeals to me most is the combination of moisture and a fresh-looking finish, particularly when I'm planning to wear minimal makeup.
Although both toners belong in a hydration-focused routine, I'd use them for slightly different purposes. Hey Blue would be my choice when I want straightforward, soothing skincare, while Anua would be the one I'd reach for when my skin needs extra moisture and a naturally luminous appearance. Neither needs an elaborate routine to make sense: a gentle cleanser, toner, moisturiser and daytime sunscreen are enough.
