There’s something satisfying about adding a new mask to my skincare shelf, especially when the goal is that fresh, bouncy-looking finish.
I recently added two collagen-focused masks to my collection, and both caught my attention for completely different reasons.
1. SUNGBOON EDITOR Deep Collagen Power Boosting Mask
The first one is SUNGBOON EDITOR Deep Collagen Power Boosting Mask, and the name already gives away its main focus: collagen care. What makes this mask interesting to me is the sheet-mask experience paired with ingredients aimed at supporting a plumper, more hydrated appearance. I usually reach for a mask when my skin looks tired and needs a little extra moisture without adding another complicated step to my routine.
2. COSRX Advanced Snail Mucin Glass Glow Hydrogel Mask
COSRX and snail mucin have become a familiar pairing in Korean skincare, so seeing Advanced Snail Mucin Glass Glow Hydrogel Mask in my collection immediately caught my eye. The hydrogel format is a big part of the appeal. It feels more substantial than a traditional sheet mask, while the formula centers around snail mucin, an ingredient known for its hydrating and skin-conditioning qualities.
Both masks have earned a spot for different reasons. SUNGBOON EDITOR is the collagen-focused pick I’d turn to when I want a more plump-looking, refreshed complexion, while COSRX brings snail mucin and a glossy hydration-focused finish into the routine. I don't think every skincare night needs to be productive or complicated. Sometimes I just want to put on a hydrogel mask, make a drink, and enjoy 15 quiet minutes while my skin gets a little extra attention. That alone makes a new mask worth keeping around.
