Hair Masks I’d Use Weekly

Hair masks are one of those products I never use just because they look good on the shelf — I want to notice a real difference in how my hair feels afterwards. Sometimes I need more shine, sometimes my lengths feel dry, and sometimes I simply want a richer treatment after heat styling.
These three masks all have slightly different personalities, which makes them easy to fit into different moments of my routine.

For Dull Hair That Needs More Shine

Garnier Pineapple Hair Food is the fun, easy option I would reach for when my hair looks a little flat and needs a softer, glossier finish. The formula is designed for long, dull hair and highlights vitamins C, E and F. I also like that it is a multi-use mask, because I’m always drawn to products that can work in more than one way depending on how much care my hair needs.
I would mainly use it through the mid-lengths and ends after shampooing, leave it on for a few minutes and rinse thoroughly. On days when my hair feels relatively healthy but simply lacks shine, this is probably the one I would pick first.
It also feels like the most casual, everyday option of the three — something I could use regularly without turning wash day into a full ritual.

When My Hair Feels Weaker

Mielle Rosemary Mint Strengthening Hair Masque feels like the more intensive treatment in this selection. The formula is infused with biotin and is positioned as a strengthening mask for longer, healthier-looking hair.
I would personally save this one for weeks when my hair has been through more heat styling, brushing or general stress than usual. I tend to focus richer masks on the driest parts of my hair rather than applying a heavy layer close to the roots.
This is the treatment I would choose when I want my routine to feel more restorative and I have time to let the mask sit properly before rinsing.

For A Smoother, More Polished Finish

Tsubaki Premium EX Repair Mask is the one that immediately gives me salon-at-home energy. I would reach for it when I want my hair to feel especially smooth, soft and polished after washing.
I like using this type of richer repair mask before an event or whenever my hair looks rougher than usual. I would distribute a small amount through damp lengths, concentrate on the ends and avoid overloading the roots.
For me, this is the option I would choose when the final look matters just as much as the conditioning step itself.

What I’d Choose

I’d use Garnier when I want easy shine, Mielle when my hair needs a more intensive strengthening-focused treatment, and Tsubaki when I want that extra-smooth, polished finish. I wouldn’t use all three at once — I’d simply rotate them depending on what my hair needs that week.
