SPF I’d Actually Pack

· Fashion team
I’m very picky with sunscreen because the texture decides everything for me. If it feels sticky, heavy or awkward under makeup, I know I’ll avoid using enough.
These three options feel suited to completely different situations, which is exactly why I like them: one looks ideal for active days, one makes body SPF much easier, and one feels closer to a hydrating skincare step.
For Days When I’m Outside More
Too Cool For School On The Move Quadruple UV Shield is the one I’d reach for when I know I’m going to spend more time outdoors. It offers SPF50+ PA++++ protection and is presented as a long-lasting sunscreen, so it immediately feels like the most practical option for busy days.
I’d use this before a long walk, a day of sightseeing or any situation where I know sun exposure will be higher than usual. The larger 80 ml tube also makes it feel less precious than some tiny face-only sunscreens, which I honestly appreciate because I never want to be stingy with SPF.
For me, this is the functional choice of the three: easy, straightforward and made for days when protection is the priority.
The Body SPF I’d Use Generously
Derma Everyday Sun Block SPF50+ PA++++ is exactly the type of sunscreen I want for my body. The large bottle makes it much easier to apply a proper amount to my arms, shoulders, legs and chest without feeling like I’m finishing half the product in one morning.
I would keep this near the door or in my summer bag so I actually remember to use it before leaving the house. Large-format body sunscreens are always more practical for me because they remove that temptation to apply too little.
This is the one I’d choose for holidays, beach days or simply warmer months when more of my skin is exposed.
When I Want SPF To Feel Like Skincare
Dr. Althea Aqua Glowing Sunscreen is the prettiest, most skincare-like option here. The formula highlights ceramide NP, panthenol, niacinamide, bamboo water and Caulerpa lentillifera extract, which makes it feel much more like a hydrating final step than a traditional sunscreen.
I’d personally use this on days when my skin feels a little dry or when I want a smoother, more luminous finish before makeup. The compact round packaging also makes it the kind of sunscreen I would happily keep on my vanity rather than hide away in a drawer.
What I’d Choose
I’d pick Too Cool For School for longer outdoor days, Derma for generous body application and Dr. Althea when I want my face sunscreen to feel more moisturising and elegant. For me, the best sunscreen is always the one that fits the situation well enough that I actually want to reapply it.
