My skincare mood lately? Keeping things simple, but choosing products that actually have a purpose. I'm drawn to formulas that target specific concerns while still fitting into a routine I can stick with on busy mornings and lazy evenings.
Two products on my radar are La Roche-Posay Effaclar Face Serum and ELEMIS Pro-Collagen Marine Cream SPF 30. Completely different roles, but both sound interesting for my skincare shelf!

1. La Roche-Posay Effaclar Face Serum with Salicylic Acid

When my skin looks congested or feels bumpy, a targeted serum is the kind of product that gets my attention. La Roche-Posay Effaclar Face Serum features salicylic acid, an ingredient known for helping unclog pores and improve the appearance of blemishes and uneven texture. What I'd appreciate most is having a dedicated step for pore care instead of piling on several products with similar ingredients. I'd introduce the serum gradually, particularly when my skin is sensitive or already feeling dry.

2. ELEMIS Pro-Collagen Marine Cream SPF 30

A moisturizer with SPF sounds like a practical addition to a morning routine, and ELEMIS Pro-Collagen Marine Cream SPF 30 has that combination covered. It brings together moisturizing care and sun protection in one product, which appeals to me on mornings when I want fewer steps before heading out. I'd be curious about its texture, especially how it sits under makeup. A cream that leaves my skin feeling comfortable without making foundation slide around would be a definite plus.
I'd keep the La Roche-Posay serum for targeted evening care and consider the ELEMIS cream for morning moisture and sun protection, while checking the directions for both products. The goal isn't a complicated shelf full of products; it's a routine that feels good and makes sense for my skin.
