I’m especially drawn to fragrances that combine creamy vanilla, soft florals, fruit and deeper gourmand notes without becoming one-dimensional. These four perfumes all fit that mood, but each gives me a very different version of it.
Sweet, golden and addictive: these are the four warm perfumes I’d reach for when I want my fragrance to feel instantly memorable.

Jimmy Choo I Want Choo Le Parfum

When I want something glamorous and noticeably sweet, Jimmy Choo I Want Choo Le Parfum is the one I’d reach for. It opens with pear, golden gardenia and blackberry before moving into jasmine, patchouli and ambrette, while sandalwood, amber and praline create a warmer finish.
To me, this is the kind of fragrance that feels dressed up. The fruity opening keeps it playful, but the praline and sandalwood make the dry-down richer and smoother. I’d wear it for dinner, an event or anytime I want my perfume to feel more noticeable.

Coach Eau de Parfum

Coach Eau de Parfum is much lighter in personality. Raspberry gives it a bright fruity opening, Turkish rose adds a creamy floral center, and musk creates a soft, sensual base.
I like this one when I want something feminine without going fully gourmand. It feels polished and easy to wear, so I’d choose it for daytime, work or whenever I want a fragrance that doesn’t overpower everything else.

Lattafa Angham

Angham is the scent I’d choose when I want sweetness with a little more spice. It combines ginger, mandarin and pink pepper with lavender, praline, cacao and jasmine before settling into vanilla, amber and musk.
The combination feels especially suited to the current gourmand trend because the sweetness has contrast. The cacao and praline make it comforting, while ginger and pink pepper stop it from feeling too soft.

Libre Vanille Couture

YSL Libre Vanille Couture is easily the most decadent option here. It takes the familiar lavender and orange-blossom character of Libre and surrounds it with rich bourbon vanilla caviar and rum absolute.
This is exactly the kind of vanilla I love right now: creamy and sweet, but still bold. I’d save it for evenings or cooler weather when I want something warm and luxurious.

Which One I’d Choose

For an elegant everyday scent, I’d pick Coach. For something playful and glamorous, Jimmy Choo would win. Angham is my choice when I want a cozy gourmand with spice, while Libre Vanille Couture is the one I’d wear when I want full-on golden vanilla.
That is what I love about the current gourmand fragrance trend: sweetness no longer means one predictable vanilla. It can be fruity, spicy, floral, creamy or dark—and I can choose a completely different mood every time.
